This work deals with the interpretation of the Jewish religion. The purpose of this work is to compare the concept of religion between two American Jewish thinkers: the founder of the revived Judaism, Rabbi Mordechai Kaplan, and the leader of modern Orthodoxy, Rabbi Yosef Dov Soloveitchik. The working method used to examine the original writings of Kaplan and Soloveitchik, using the bibliography available on the interpretation of these writings.
